Private luxury ger camps

Your camp stands alone on the open plain. Inside, the ger is lined with felt and warmed by a stove, with a proper bed and every comfort. Outside there is only grass, sky and the occasional herd passing in the distance.

Horseback across the steppe

Local horsemen bring horses bred for this land, and you ride into valleys where you may not meet another soul. At midday you stop at a herder's ger and share tea with the family.

Under the Milky Way

When night falls, the camp lights are put out. Lying back on a blanket, you watch the Milky Way stretch from one horizon to the other, in a silence that only a place this empty can offer.

When to go

June to September is warm and green. The Gobi is best in spring and autumn, and winter suits only the adventurous.
